NPI Day 5

Posted: under writing.
Tags: NPI, write, writing

I was feeling kind of crummy sitting in last place, so today I stuck to my guns and nearly doubled my word count.

WC: 1,275

Writing sessions over 1,000 words aren’t terribly uncommon for me when I actually get the gumption to sit down and write.
Though every time they do happen, I sure do feel good about myself.
Over 1000 means my writing was definitely flowing that day.

I’m sure this number will be dwarfed by RG and packsister, but for now I’m feeling quite accomplished. xD

All kinds of cool stuff happened/made-an-appearance in my writing today, such as a colossus buried up to its shoulders in sand, a wadi, flowers, babysitting, a tower, a gate, a satellite city called Ulritz, a character getting handcuffs removed, a sleazy fencer, and a necessary run-in with cruel little creatures called kingclaws.

Yes, I said babysitting. And it’s not the first time I’ve written about babysitting. Go fig.

And poor, poor Adrielle… hehehe. Not to mention Sessine from yesterday. Oh my.

I realize you have no idea who or what I’m talking about half the time, but that’s part of the fun, isn’t it?

Novel Push Initiative: Our standings so far

Welcome to March 5th! Everyone’s still hanging in there. And today it sounds like RG and packsister mean business.

I think the greatest thing about this is we’ve all been supportive, encouraging each other to continue.

(thanks to RG Sanders for the graphic)

To reinforce the notion of friendly competition, I’m posting the tallies in the order of total WC.
