spamming? no way! have you ever belonged to a messageboard community where the mods immediately lock posts just because they have gotten off-topic? I always thought that was ridiculous. If the conversation naturally moves in a different direction, I say let it be!

Oh hell yes I did. Just picture a lvl 70 female gnome (warlock) in pig-tails running around killing everything. That's me! :D

And I'll defiantly make time to finish MGS3. Never realized how good the story was, but now that I think about it, for a shooting game, the story was pretty awesome. Now you're making me want to play!

Oh, and I apologize for spamming your blog with video game talk. :P

hey I'm not tryin to hide who I am. ;D
I love me some videogames!
MGS3 can be goofy at times, but it has such a touching story---if you ever feel like getting to the end, I promise it's well worth it.
THREE level 70's in WoW??? Crazy!! I bet you kick some serious monster butt! ^__^

Wow, you're such a huge nerd. :P
Nah, seriously. Nice taste in games! I applaud you.

I never got into Knights of the Old Republic but it looks really cool, my brother-in-law plays it. Very impressive on the FFs. I seriously wish I had the time (I'll make some someday) to play all the FF's. I wanted to play FFXI Online but that was around the time I was playing World of Warcraft I believe. And WoW takes a lot of dedication. I don't play any more but I'm planning on picking it back up. :P At least you tried it! Although a lvl 16 and 22 isn't nothing to brag about. hehe Especially since I have 3 lvl 70s. /flex Also nothing to be bragging about. (not many people know of my true v-game nerdiness)

Dark Cloud 1 was cool but 2 was soo much better. They pretty much took everything wrong with the first one and made it even better in the second. :) It's one of my faves.

And I should have mentioned that the last Mario game I bought was Mario Party 5. I also have Sunshine which was actually really fun when playing with my boyfriend, taking turns beating lvls, but it's one of the latest Marios I own. I enjoy 64 and all the older ones like you've mentioned. 1, 3 and World are my favorites. True classics.

MGS3 is such a weird game because it's the only shooting game I have ever gotten in to (besides Mario Duck Hunt!). I give credit to my boyfriend for that one. I never beaten it but I LOVED playing it. He plays other first & third person shooter games that I always wanted to pick up. Like Red Dead Resolver & TFC. So tempted.

Whoa, I have never heard of or seen those rhythm games you've mentioned. :O Those are so bad ass. You are quite old school.

yay! a v-games discussion :D And people with similar tastes to me!

-I never got terribly into Fable. I think at the time it came out, I was drawn into Knights of the Old Republic. I've heard Fable: The Lost Chapters was a big improvement. I'd be willing to give Fable II a try.
-Final Fantasy X, XII, CC; I think you know what my opinions are on those! The only FF's I haven't beaten were FF II (got to the black mage tower), FF Tactics, FF CC:Ring of Fates, and FF V (got to the Cleft of Dimension). I really need to conquer those! Yes, I've actually cleared X-2, Legend III, Mystic Quest, and many of the other oddballs and black sheep of the franchise. Oh, and FFXI(online), I was a lvl 50 white mage ;p
-Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, I had actually gotten the fog cleared up on the Northwestern corner of the map, but for some reason, I stopped playing there. I've been through most of the rest of the Zeldas, and I think you'll be happy to know my favorite one to this day is Legend of Zelda IV: The Wind Waker, followed closely by the original :) Zelda V: Ocarina of Time is also a 'must play'.
-I never got a chance to play the original Dark Cloud, but I do own DC2 and enjoyed it immensely.
-Mostly all the Marios? Hm. I'd say my favorite is still divided between 1, 3, and World. I enjoyed 64 immensely, but Sunshine and Galaxy were not what I was expecting. There's so many games with the Jumpman, and I've played almost all of 'em ;D
-MGS3! Yes! I cry every time I watch the ending. I have the Director's Cut with all the silly extra scenes and the movie mode.
-Guitar Hero and Rock Band I never got into, because I had already played Konami's Guitar Freaks series years prior. :) That said, I'm a big fan of rhythm games. I imported Beatmania 1st Mix back in 1998-9. I loved the DDR series and Para Para Paradise the best.
-World of Warcraft I couldn't get into. I totally figured I'd fall in love with that game, too, because I fell madly in love with EverQuest when it came out. I made a Tauren Shaman that lasted to lvl 16, then I tried again later with a Nightelf Druid that lived to about lvl 22.
